This is the Bodhichitta aspiration prayer recited after many Tibetan Buddhist liturgies.
Bodhichitta is the altruistic intention to free oneself and all others from suffering, to attain liberation for the sake of oneself and all others.
Bodhichitta is also the guiding motivation in the Tibetan Buddhist’s life, one’s fuel for the path. One cultivates and sparks the flame of bodhichitta again and again. In Dzogchen, bodhichitta also refers to the natural intrinsic wisdom and the enlightened state.
